COMMISSIONS

Interested in commissioning art from me? Check my 📅SCHEDULE for upcoming openings,
and fill out a 📃FORM to claim a slot! If you don't see a commission type here available as an option on my form,
it's because I'm taking a break from that type - I may bring it back in the future with some tweaks.

Here's my commission types & prices:

✏️ SKETCH

Traditional pencil sketch drawn on a 9x12" canvas, with some digital cleanup and white charcoal highlights. (Sometimes I'll experiment with non-photo blue pencil, and another pass with black pencil lines for clarity.) Any extra time in the slot goes into additional cleanup or quick pencil shading, whichever makes for a clearer image quickly and gives it the look of a storyboard sketch for an animation production, or maybe a piece of concept art for a game. You can also get up to 4 sketches at once for a sequence!

You'll receive:
  • Hi-res uncompressed file
  • 1080p web-res file (either 1440x1080 or 1920x1080 pixels depending on composition)
  • 1080p Timelapse video file, usually 60 seconds long, showing the entire digital clean-up and coloring process.
  • Raw lineart without effects, in case you'd like to color the sketch yourself!

• $45 USD each (30 minute block)
• +$25 USD (15 mins) per additional character

🎨 SPEEDPAINT

Pencil sketch with quick loose colors added, and with remaining time in the slot going into cleaning up the sketch, or basic lighting and background, going for an end result like an impressionistic piece of concept art! I do these at a 4:3 aspect ratio to match the 9"x12" sketchpad I generally work on, unless the prompt demands a wider canvas.

You'll receive:
  • Hi-res uncompressed file
  • 1080p web-res file (either 1440x1080 or 1920x1080 pixels depending on composition)
  • 1080p Timelapse video file, usually 60 seconds long, showing the entire digital clean-up and coloring process.

• $90 USD, 2 hours.
• +$50 USD / 1 hour per additional character

📺️ TV CEL

Cel color with simple highlights and simple geometric background in a 4:3 frame, meant to look like a screenshot from that one Saturday morning TV show you couldn't quite remember until now!

These pieces are meant to get clean lineart and colors, but with a focus on speed and efficiency to make it feel like a moment taken out of a larger animation, so no shading or complex details. I'll add a drop shadow under the cel painting as well as some noise filters and chromatic aberration to sell the animation cel look, but I'll also provide you with a file without VHS filters.

I can also add a subtitle to add a bit more story and context - if you don't have any ideas for a caption, I can come up with one! You'll receive a file with and without captions.

Backgrounds will either be abstract geometric paintings if the character's details take a lot of time, or if time allows, I'll do an out-of-focus, low-detail environment like a simple bedroom or landscape - nothing too detailed.

For pieces that demand a more detailed background, or if characters are interacting with props and structures around them (beyond simple structures like a couch or chair & table with empty dishes), that would need to be on my 📼Movie tier below. I'll let you know if there's enough detail to make it Movie tier, and if there's a way I can still do it on TV tier.

You'll receive:
  • Hi-res uncompressed file (labeled "HIRES)
  • 1080p file (either 1440x1080 or 1920x1080 pixels depending on composition) with VHS filters and a subtitle if provided (labeled "caption")
  • 1080p file with VHS filters, but with the subtitle removed if applicable (labeled "filter")
  • 1080p web-res file without VHS filters. (labeled "webres")
  • 1080p Timelapse video file, usually 60 seconds long, showing the entire digital clean-up and coloring process.
  • Any available WIP snapshots, including the raw scanned pencil sketch / rough.

• $200 for zoomed-in thigh-up
• $250 for zoomed-out full-body
• +$100 per additional character

📀 MOVIE CEL COLOR

Cel color with highlights, cel shading, and a fully painted background in a 16:9 widescreen frame, meant to look like a screenshot from a late-90s or early-2000s DVD release of a theatrical animated film that doesn't exist... but should! (or maybe does in some alternate dimension?)

Differences from TV tier:
  • 16:9 or 21:9 aspect ratio, depending on composition needs (I default to 16:9)
  • Finer lineart, may do colored lineart if the movie style calls for it
  • Cel shading (unless the setting doesn't call for it, then I'll put more time into other details)
  • More complex lighting effects (still aiming for animated movie look though, not photorealism)
  • Detailed painted background, still stylized but can have more complexity like stuff in the foreground and characters interacting with more background elements, and can work in more details that help tell the story.
Some of my favorite artistic influences are OVA anime releases like Slayers The Motion Picture or FLCL, or full length animated movies like Atlantis: The Lost Empire or Secret of NIMH, but if you have a particular favorite animated film you want to point me to, I may be able to use it as a point of reference for my stylistic approach!

• $300 for zoomed-in thigh-up
• $350 for zoomed-out full-body
• +$150 per additional character

📖 PINUP

Vertical poster with cel colors, simple geometric background, and simple highlights and shadows, meant to look like a centerfold poster you'd pull out of an anime or game magazine. Drawn on an 11"x17" canvas to be suitable for print, and can be easily cropped for a device background.

• $150 for thigh-up
• $200 for zoomed-out full-body
• +$100 for a 2nd character

👥 REFSHEET

A reference sheet for a single character. I can either work off of an existing refsheet or other existing images of the character, or for a $50 custom fee I can start from scratch to create a new character using a moodboard or text descriptions. Starts with a single nude front and back view, and can add an outfit, detail close-ups, and other extras for about $50 each.

• $300 base rate (front & back view)
• $50 fee for a custom character
• ~$50 / 30-60mins for outfit, detail views, etc.
• Additional fees may apply for extra complex designs

💬 PNGTUBER

Art that can be dropped into Veadotube or similar apps for an animated, minimalistic vtuber! Base price covers a closed mouth frame, open mouth frame, and a blinking version of open and closed mouth, 4 images total. Additional expressions and poses can be added for about $50 each depending on complexity. (Video example)

• $150 base
• ~$50 per extra expression / pose.
